Over the course of my career I worked as a facilitator for NYC’s Office of Arts and Special Projects, to assist fellow educators in developing formative assessment strategies. My most notable research includes the development of visual rubrics and student generated criteria descriptors. Details of this work can be seen below in the feature article of the January 2014 NAEA Journal. I have also included a video suite created by, Students at the Center, demonstrating the assessment tool, the ladder of feedback. Throughout the videos my students and I share testimonials about how structured feedback protocols result in student centered revision.
